Founded in 1997, SecureNetShop began as a website development company. As web designers, we were often faced with the challenge of finding a shopping cart solution for our client's web businesses. Designing custom code for each client was too costly and time-consuming. Seeking third party shopping cart solutions that could easily integrate into any website was clearly the best solution.
After struggling with dozens of providers who offered less than adequate products and poor customer support, we realized that if we wanted to add a reliable, easy-to-use, feature-rich shopping cart to our clients, we would have to build it ourselves.
In September of 1997, we began development on what would soon become our flagship product. After months of development and testing, we rolled out our new shopping cart service to the public. The response was so overwhelming that we decided to restructure our company and dedicate 100% of our resources to offering cutting-edge, ecommerce-enabling solutions.
